Start or buy a business.
Build your future in Canada.
For experienced business owners, investors and farmers. Every business file is different, so we start with a consultation and recommend the pathway that fits your experience, your funds and your plans.
The pathways we focus on
Each works differently, with its own requirements, timelines and commitments. These are the three we know best.
Rural Entrepreneur Stream (RES)
Start or buy a business in a participating rural Alberta community, with that community’s support. Part of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
C11 Entrepreneur Work Permit
For owner-operators who will run a business in Canada that brings a significant economic, social or cultural benefit. A temporary permit, and we’ll plan what comes next with you.
Farm Stream
For experienced farmers with the capital to buy or start a farm in Alberta. Part of the Alberta Advantage Immigration Program.
Not sure which pathway fits?
That’s what the consultation is for. We’ll look at your experience, your funds and your plans, and recommend the pathway that’s best for you, including others if none of these fit.
How we start
Every pathway has its own steps. We map out yours once we know which one fits.
Consultation
A 20-minute session with Malik on your business background, funds and goals.
Pathway recommendation
An honest view of which pathway suits you, what it requires, and how competitive you are.
Your plan & quote
A step-by-step plan for your pathway and a written quote. We stay with you through every stage.
The federal Start-up Visa stopped taking new commitment certificates at the start of 2026, and its final window for permanent residence applications closed on June 30, 2026. The Self-Employed Persons Program remains paused. IRCC has announced a new entrepreneur pilot; we’ll update this page when its details are published.
Is this a fit for you?
Business pathways reward preparation. If your profile isn’t competitive yet, we’ll say so, and tell you what would change that.

- You can document the funds you’ll invest, and where they came from
- You’re ready to live in Canada and run the business day to day
- You have a clear idea of the business you want to start or buy

Our fee is quoted in writing once we know your pathway. Government fees are paid directly to Alberta or IRCC.
