A visitor visa that gets them here for the moments that matter.

Weddings, graduations, a new grandchild, or a long-overdue visit. We build an application that answers the questions officers actually ask.

Who we help

Most of our visitor files fall into one of these four.

Family visits

Invitation letters, host documents and a travel history that tells one consistent story.

Events & tourism

Weddings, graduations, births and holidays, with a clear itinerary and proof of funds.

Business visitors

Meetings, conferences and site visits, showing clearly that you won’t be working here.

Extending a stay

Already in Canada and need more time? We file before your status runs out.

What officers look for

A visitor visa is decided on paper. These four points decide most files.

A clear purpose

Why now, for how long, and where they’ll stay.

Ties to home

Work, property and family that mean they’ll go back.

Enough money

Their own funds or a host’s support, documented properly.

A consistent history

Past travel and past applications that line up.

Refused before?

Don’t reapply with the same file.

Bring your refusal letter. We request the officer’s notes, find what actually went wrong, and tell you honestly whether to reapply now or wait.

Book a refusal review

Reapply with new evidence

Only once something has changed or you can answer the officer’s concerns. IRCC says the same application is unlikely to get a different result.

Reconsideration

An informal request to revisit the decision, suited to clear errors such as a document that was sent but overlooked. IRCC doesn’t have to reopen the file.

Judicial review

A Federal Court challenge with strict deadlines. MAMI is not a law firm, so if this is the right route we refer you to a lawyer quickly.

What it costs

Our fee depends on how many people are travelling and their history, so we quote it in writing before we start. Government fees are paid directly to IRCC.

Common
questions

Do they need a visa, or just an eTA?

It depends on their passport and how they travel. Some travellers need a visitor visa, others only an electronic travel authorization (eTA) to fly. IRCC’s “Find out if you need a visa” tool gives the current answer for each passport.

Should I write an invitation letter?

Yes, if you’re hosting someone. It explains the purpose of the visit and who will support them. It doesn’t guarantee a visa, but a clear, accurate letter that matches the rest of the file helps.

Can a visitor work while in Canada?

No. Visitors can’t work without a work permit. Some business activities, such as meetings and conferences, are allowed as a business visitor. Ask us before you travel if you’re unsure.

Do you handle work or study permits?

Our focus is Super Visas, visitor visas, family sponsorship, Express Entry and business immigration, including C11 work permits for business owners. For other work or study permits, we’ll tell you honestly whether we’re the right fit or refer you to someone who is.
